To Whom It May Concern:

On several occasions, because of an acute low back syndrome with pain, I have benefited from the interventions provided by Mr. Teodor Nastu. On the most resent occasion, about 6 weeks ago, his application of electrical therapies, massage, and exercise regimen brought about a shortened period of bed rest and a quicker recovery.

Since I work with elderly patients in our geriatrics programs, I thought that the role he might play as therapist, exercise planner, and supervisor of general physical health programs might prove of definite benefit to a sedentary and/or frail older population. These are only some of the potential roles he might play, as I imagine them, and I'm sure he has even wider capabilities for individuals of all ages.

Because I have found him so effective in his work, I offered to write a letter in is behalf, recommending him as a person of integrity and capable of improving mental and physical well-being through exercise programs.

Sincerely,
David Hamerman, M.D.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter to introduce Ted Nastu. I am a physician in Riverdale. I recently had the misfortune to have somebody ski into me and induced some major damage to my knee. I was frankly very upset because I'm an active person and I was in a lot of pain and I envisioned weeks of immobility.

The day after the injury Ted started working on me with his unique blend of Eastern European, Chinese and American massage and physical therapy and I must say I have dramatically improved over the ensuing thee weeks.

Another physical therapist who had seen me several days after the injury was amazed at the improvement. Unlike many physical therapists who work with you for 20 minutes or a half hour Ted's sessions could easily last an hour and sometimes even longer. I can not say enough to recommend Ted with any patients for shoulder, back, knee, neck or other assorted aches and pains. He gives 100% and sincerely tries to get the patient better as quickly as possible. I have already referred both my wife and my mother to Ted for their problems and I would send any of my patients without hesitation to him.

I'd be happy to answer any questions that your have. I can not praise him enough for the effort he has put into my getting better.

Sincerely,
Harold Mermelstein, M.D., P.C.

Dear Ted,

There are no words that can fully express my gratitude to you for helping restore my body. Your positive caring spirit, knowledge, wisdom and healing hands are quite a gift.

Before finding you, I had nine months of pain and reduced function. I had been to all the conventional medical people and therapists. I had all the Xrays and MRIs the fancy doctors, fancy offices, fancy machines. But I did not have someone who had the knowledge, determination and caringness to unlock the healing powers of my body. I thank G'd for your help.

I also thank you for getting my son started on caring for his body. Because of you, he is motivated and working in a systematic disciplined way and I know that his life will be better for it.

I look forward to learning from each other and feel grateful that our neighborhood has a ÒhealerÓ of your caliber.

Thanks,
Phillip Schneider, Ed.D.

Dear Ted,
I am writing this letter to express my appreciation for the wonderful job you have done while working with my athletes. Your help has been invaluable.

Through the years I have worked with numerous top quality track athletes. Among these have been Kim Whitehead who earned a spot on the 1980 U.S. Olympic team in the 400 meter hurdles, Yvonne Harrison who competed for Puerto Rico in the 2004 Olympics and Tressa Smith, a former member of the U.S. Junior and Senior Track Teams that competed internationally. Additionally I coached Marsha Guialdo who went on to compete for the U. S. in numerous European International meets and Luan Guialdo who qualified to represent the U. S. in International meets.

Ted, I want to thank you for the wonderful work you have done with two of my young ladies. First the aforementioned Yvonne Harrison, with whom you have worked over the past few years. During that time your treatments and diagnosis have been important factors in enabling her to succeed in track and compete in the 2004 Olympics.

Also, another girl who was diagnosed with scoliosis and offered surgery as the only recourse. I brought her to you and as a result of your treatments she has been symptom free for the past year and three quarters and has been able to avoid surgery. Additionally she has been extremely successful in her track competitions with no problems from the scoliosis to inhibit her performance.

Once again, thank you for all your help!

Sincerely,
